Strike Fighter Squadron 22 (VFA-22), also known as the “Fighting Redcocks”, are a US Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter squadron stationed at NAS Lemoore, CA. Their tail code is NA and their radio callsign alternates between “Beef” and “Beef Eater”. This patch was created for those pilots that earned the Forward Air Controller (Airborne) qualification. This version has the “deser” middle and does come with velcro attached.
