(Another AV8RSTUFF Creation): The squadron wanted to do something special to commemorate their 80th anniversary, which means having a “throwback” idea for a patch…..looking through the headlines, the squadron realized they were in the press for a toilet-bomb they had hanging on the jet for change of command. Long story short, VA-25 dropped a toilet in Vietnam and our Ordies recreated it on deployment by strapping a toilet onto the wing of an F/A-18 for the CoC…..what better way to honor their past than with a patch of a toilet!! This is the desert version of the patch has the squadron logo and Battle ‘E’, has the “DESERT TAILFINS” on the right, and does come with velcro attached.
