The ‘Goldenhawks’ of VFA-303 were established in July 1970 as the first Naval Air Reserve operator of the A-7 Corsair. In Jan ’84, they became the first Reserve squadron to receive the F/A-18 Hornet. They fly out of NAS Lemoore, CA.
