This is the (somewhat) desert version of the 2018 Operation INHERENT RESOLVE (OIR) cruise patch created for VFA-81 while onboard the USS Trumon as part of that Airwing. It shows “”””Will Ferrell”””” sitting atop a MK-82/84 similar to Slim Pickens in Dr. Strangelove. It also shows all the squadron logos of the other members of the Airwing and this patch does not have velcro attached.
