VMA-513 Squadron Patch (Des)

This was the desert version of the current squadron patch for the VMA-513 ‘Flying Nightmares’. They fly the AV-8B Harrier out of MCAS Yuma, AZ under MAG-13 supervision. THey are a “one-time” WWII night-fighter squadron and flew Phantoms during the Vietnam War, but transitioned to the Harrier early in it’s infancy and have been there ever since.
