VMF-214 was the “Blacksheep” squadron often depicted on the TV series. The currently operate the AV-8B Harrier out of MCAS Yuma, AZ under MAG-13. This is probably the most well-known, notorious squadron in the ‘Corps. Their history traces back to the Pacific under ‘Pappy’ Boyington.
