VMFA-115 F-4U Backpatch (3-pieces/LARGE)

The “Silver Eagles” of VMFA-115 fly the F/A-18A Hornet from MCAS Beaufort, SC. They flew the F-4 Phantoms under MAG-31 during Vietnam, then later transitioned to the A-model Hornets in 1985. They routinely deploy to MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. This version of their “backpatch” was created for one of their former pilots who was turning 100 years old and the squadron wanted to surprise him with special gift. Note this patch says “JOES JOKERS” on the wings, SILVER EAGLES rocker (top), and SANTA BARBARA, CA rocker (bottom). These patches do not come with velcro already attached as it’s designed to be sewn on the back of a jacket… Bravo Zulu to the Silver Eagles for this gesture!! It’s an AWESOME PATCH!!!!
