The ‘Thundering Herd’ of VMGR-234 fly the KC-130F/T out of NAS Glenview, IL under MAG-41. They flew in support of Desert Storm, and used these desert colored patches when over in that part of the world. VMGR-234 moved from NAS Glenview, IL to NAS Fort Worth JRB, Texas whereas they changed there call sign from the Bears to the Rangers. This is the “neon” version of their aircraft patch with the colors denoting their night mission.
