VT-2 ‘Historical’ Patch (Repro)

This is a reproduction of the ‘historical’ squadron patch created for the VT-2 “Doer Birds” based out of NAS Whiting Field, FL. They were established as BTG-2 (Basic Training Group), but were redesignated as VT-2 (Fixed Wing Training) in May 1960. They are 1 of 3 squadrons located at Whiting Field flying the T-34C Turbo-Mentor to provide primary flight training to Naval Aviators. This patch does not come with velcro attached.
