(Direct from the squadron): This is one of the versions created for the Carrier Airborne Early Warning (AEW) Weapons School. It depicts a lightning bolt through a blue star and is earned by those from the E-2 Community that graduate from this very prestigious school. It says “WEAPONS TACTICS INSTRUCTOR” (top) and “CAEWWS” (bottom) and does not have velcro attached.
