Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23 (HSC-23), also known as the “Wildcards”, are a US Navy helicopter squadron based at NAS North Island in San Diego, CA. The “Wildcards” currently fly the MH-60S Seahawk helicopter and the MQ-8B Firescout VTUAV. HSC-23 is the sister squadron of the HSC-21 “Blackjacks” also stationed at NAS North Island. This is the OCP version of the patch worn on the sleeve of their uniform and does not come with velcro already attached.
