VA-35 ‘A-6 DECOMM’ Triangle (White)

(Another AV8RSTUFF Creation): This is the white version of the “decommissioning” triangle patch for the VA-35 Black Panthers that flew the A-6E Intruder out of NAS Oceana, VA. They were one of the oldest squadrons in the Navy, having had the Panther emblem since the mid-1930’s. This squadron was the one that lost an Intruder the first night of the 1991 Persian Gulf War. This patch lists the dates ‘1965 – 1995’ and does not come with velcro attached.
