The VF-154 ‘Black Knights’ were established in February 1951, then designated as VF-154 in February 1953. They flew the F-4S Phantom before transitioning to the F-14A Tomcat. This is the black version of their Desert Storm Felix patch worn during their participation in the conflict. It shows Felix in his “Knight Templar” vest with the arabian sword at his side and the shield lists their “1990 DESERT SHIELD” participation. This patch does not come with velcro attached.
