VF-154 Squadron Patch (White/Gray)

The ‘Black Knights’ of VF-154 flew the F-14A Tomcat as part of CVW-5 onboard the USS Kitty Hawk and home-based out of NAF Atsugi, Japan. The symbol on the patch shows an armored knight at parade rest with shield and sword. This was designed by a LTjg in the squadron in 1957, but then drawn by cartoonist Milton Caniff of “Steve Canyon” fame. This is the white-bordered/gray-lettered version of their squadron patch and does not come with velcro attached.
