In order to be qualified for the “FLEET” (operational squadrons), the pilots must “Air-to-Air” qualify by going through the ‘FIGHTER’ curriculum at NAS KEY WEST, FL. This is the class’ nametag that has Navy Pilot wings, but the logo is the “beer can” squadron patch. This patch DOES NOT come with velcro attached.
