The “Cyclons”, based at NAS Fallon, NV are an adversary squadron equipped with Northrop’s F-5 E/F Tigers, and in 1992, began transitioning to the F/A-18A/B Hornet. The Cyclons were the first adversary squadron to fly the Hornet. This is the “diamond” version of their adversary aircraft patch worn on the right sleeve of the flightsuit.
