The “Tophatters” of VFA-14 from NAS Oceana fly the F/A-18 Hornet and is the oldest US Navy squadron with a continuous history dating back to September 1919. They received their latest aircraft in Dec 2001, replacing the F-14 Tomcat. This is the desert version with the RED logo (for Deployments) of the PILOT nametag worn by the HORNET pilots of VFA-14 and does not come with velcro attached.
