This is the desert version of the triangular aircraft patch for the ‘Fighting Redcocks’ that fly the F/A-18 Hornet out of NAS Lemoore, CA. Their history dates back to July 1948, but they currently are attached to CVW-8 flying off the USS Enterprise (CVN-65).
