Based out of NAS Lemoore, CA flying the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C Hornet, they were established in March 1952. They participated in Desert Storm in 1991 with CVW-11 and the USS Lincoln (CVN-72). They now fly from the deck of the Carl Vinson (CVN-70) and this is their cruise patch from their WestPac tour during Desert Storm in 1991. This patch does not come with velcro attached.
