The ‘Screaming Eagles’ of VF-51 received their first F-14A Tomcats in June 1978 after a long and distinguished career in the F-4 Phantom. Most of the flying scenes done for TOPGUN, the movie, were by this squadron. This is the WSO/RIO nametag for the “back seaters” in that squadron and does not come with velcro attached.
